The pattern I see with my clients maps directly to eval-first design: they treat the financial plan as a static PRD, set once and never revisited.

But the plan only works if it's a living spec — every real-life failure (medical inflation spike, job loss) becomes a permanent case that updates the plan.

Same principle: the suite grows with production, it never shrinks.
